Accessibility

Last updated

Colorado ABA aims to make its editorial directory usable by people with different abilities and access needs. Accessibility is an ongoing part of maintaining the site.

Using the directory

Directory pages provide text, headings, ordinary links, labeled filters and pagination in their initial page content. You can browse providers and submit directory filters without browser JavaScript. The site includes a skip link and visible keyboard focus. Its layouts are designed to reflow on smaller screens, with visitor-facing text at least 16 CSS pixels.

Forms and alternatives

The care request and contact forms require JavaScript. If a form is difficult to use, email hello@coloradoaba.org for help or an alternative way to make your request. Describe the help you need without sending medical records, diagnoses, a child's name or insurance identifiers.

Report a barrier

Use Contact us or email us with the page URL, what you were trying to do and what prevented it. If comfortable, include the browser or assistive technology involved. You do not need to disclose a disability or diagnosis.

Ongoing improvements

We use accessibility feedback to identify barriers and improve the experience. This statement is not a certification of complete conformance with a particular accessibility standard. External provider websites have their own accessibility features and support channels.
